MillyJean Helvick is a Registered Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, who provides corresponding verbal and creative arts expression to those suffering with various behavioral and mental health conditions. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Art Therapy from Marywood University. Most of her experience is providing humanistic, person centered services to clients struggling with addiction in all settings including inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient.

 

MillyJean is dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental health and substance abuse providing a judgment free therapeutic alliance with each client to meet their individual goals. She incorporates various art forms and therapeutic techniques. Implementing art as a tool within traditional psychotherapy as a means of creative expression helps to ease dialogue with clients of all ages. Art making works with the subconscious encompassing the overall person and providing an outlet to help express even the most difficult emotions and experiences. MillyJean’s overarching goal at the Nanticoke office is to help each client grow and live to their best quality of life by discovering their potential and learning to live an enjoyable, sober and happy life.

Michael J. Capozzi is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  Originally from Long Island NY, Michael attended the University of Scranton where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Counseling & Human Services and his graduate degree in Community Counseling. Michael’s experience comes from working in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient and family-based services in both the drug/alcohol and behavioral health fields.

Bill Killgore is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing services to clients in Nanticoke, PA and the surrounding area.  He is originally from Allentown PA, and currently lives in Long Pond PA where he has come to greatly appreciate country living.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and later completed his graduate training in Counseling Psychology at Liberty University.  Bill has extensive experience having worked for the past 30+ years in many facets of the behavioral health and drug and alcohol field, including residential, partial hospital, Employee Assistance Programming and outpatient services.

Brittany Lehman is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She attended Keystone College and obtained an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marywood University.  Brittany is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her experience comes from working in both outpatient and partial hospitalization programs with individuals having co-occurring disorders. 

Brittany’s approach is both person-centered and solution-focused. She uses a variety of techniques derived from motivational interviewing and dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT) to help motivate individuals to make positive changes in their life with focus on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness and emotion regulation. Lori Czajkowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Lock Haven University and her Master’s degree in Community Counseling at the University of Scranton.  She worked in community mental health for 10 years following her education and has recently worked for 3 years in college mental health.  She also has experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

Cassandra Getz is a Masters level Social Worker. She completed her Masters in Social Work at Marywood University and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bloomsburg University. Her experience comes from working with adults at a homeless shelter providing case management services developing mutually agreed upon goals and help clients work through life transitions.

Janelle Stevens is a Masters level counselor in the Nanticoke and Berwick areas. She earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University. She currently lives in Stillwater, Pennsylvania. Janelle’s experience comes from working with children and adolescents in schools, as well as working with college students in a University counseling center and adults in an outpatient agency in the Scranton Area. Victoria Woodward is a Licensed Professional Counselor offering services to adults and teens in the Berwick area.  She is originally from Maryland and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland.  After relocating to Pennsylvania in 1984, she earned her Masters in Community Counseling from the University of Scranton.  She has practiced counseling with a variety of ages and populations for more than 30 years.  


Victoria became certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 1998.  This is an integrative psychotherapy used for the treatment of anxiety and trauma, as well as a variety of other disorders.  It has helped numerous people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress, including nightmares and unwarranted fears.


Her approach to therapy is strength based.  She helps those who have experienced trauma or abuse see themselves as survivors rather than victims.  Using a variety of cognitive techniques, she helps clients recognize how negative self-concepts and belief patterns develop.  This in turn helps them let go of negative beliefs and recognize what they need to do to make positive changes in their lives.  Victoria sees clients in our Nanticoke and Berwick offices.

Karen Williamson is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She grew up in Germany and moved to the United States in 1975. She earned a Master’s degree in counseling from Neumann University in 1990. Karen has over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field, providing counseling services to EAPs and various churches. She has experience facilitating therapeutic groups on various topics. Karen has provided clinical supervision to many graduate students over the years.

Karen believes that a supportive, accepting and respectful therapeutic relationship creates the necessary environment for change and growth to occur. She is flexible in her therapeutic orientation, drawing on various modalities, such as client center therapy, CBT, solution focused strategies and family systems theory. Nikki Sunday is a Master's level clinician.  Nikki received both her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Art Therapy from Cedar Crest College. Nikki provides both verbal and creative arts expression to those with behavioral and mental health concerns. Nikki's experiences include working with children, adolescents, and adults in crisis, memory care with older adults, and individuals who fall on the autism spectrum.


Nikki's approach to therapy values a strong development of the therapeutic relationship with clients to help reach their goals. Nikki is flexible in her approach and operates from a holistic and person-centered view. She incorporates art and nature-based therapeutic techniques into her practice. Implementing these tools with traditional psychotherapy elicits an open environment to explore difficult topics and provide valuable insight to clients. Nikki strives to create a safe space for self exploration, processing emotions, and overall wellness.
